The Clarity Roadmap

How I find the real reason your €1–10M growth stalled and the path to get your edge back

Why €1–10M companies hit a wall

Growth slows down for one core reason:

Your story evolved slower than your business.

At €0–3M, you grow because hustle works. Early adopters carry you. The founder can sell anything. What you stand for doesn't matter that much yet.

At €3–10M, everything changes. You need relevance to your next customer segment. Positioning that reflects your current value. A story that earns trust without you in the room.

When this gap widens, you feel it everywhere. Marketing stops converting. Sales cycles stretch. Ads get expensive. You're attracting the wrong customers.

You think: "Our marketing isn't working." Or: "We have a sales problem."

But that's not quite right.

Where the plateau actually hides

The real growth blocker is almost always something you stopped seeing.

The story you're still telling. Does it match the business you've become? Most founders unknowingly sell a past version of themselves: the scrappy startup, the family legacy, the original product. Meanwhile, the business has evolved into something more valuable. But the story didn't follow.

The customer you outgrew. You built this business for Segment A. Your next €10M sits in Segment B. But everything - your messaging, your positioning, how you show up still speaks to the customers who got you here, not the ones who'll get you there.

The hidden friction. Somewhere in your buyer's journey, prospects feel doubt. Confusion. Mismatch. They can't articulate it. Neither can you. But it's costing you deals every week.

This is where 80% of plateaus hide.

You'll know you've found it when you think: "We've been looking at the wrong thing entirely."

Why you can't fix this yourself

Not because you're not smart. Because you're too close.

You cannot see your own positioning gaps. The patterns that are obvious to an outsider are invisible from inside your own business. This is physics, not capability.

And here's what makes it expensive: every quarter you stay unclear, your next customer segment is being claimed by a competitor who figured it out first.

What happens when you get clarity

After scaling bitpanda to unicorn and diagnosing dozens of plateaus since (from B2B SaaS to legacy family businesses) - I've seen the same pattern:

A premium wine brand went from "we sell wine" to owning a movement: selling non alcoholic aperitivo to fitness enthusiasts. And the best part? Their “normal” wine sales jumped by 20% too! New markets, new customers & premium pricing.

A SaaS founder at €4.5M was stuck selling to the wrong segment + bad rep with the initial product. We found the next customer profile + we crafted a white label, so they can sell it to many. Revenue almost doubled. Acquisition interest followed in 6 months.

A legacy family business reframed from regional salmon producer to lifestyle brand for a new audience: kids. New customers, stronger margins and a confirmation that you can’t know before you try.

Each result came from clarity - not tactics.

But don’t take my words for it - this is a testimonial I’ve gotten just yesterday:
